OnLive Updated the OnLive App for Android and Added PS3 Controller Support On Sony Tablet S


OnLive updated the OnLive App for Android to version 1.3. The most prominent feature that the update enables is that the PS3 controller can now be used for OnLive on the Sony Tablet S.

Included in the update are also performance improvements and stability related fixes. OnLive has also tested additional Android tablets and smartphones with the OnLive App for Android.

Logitech is Bundling OnLive Promo Codes to Gamepads They Are Selling

Looks like OnLive and Logitech are working together on a promotion where Logitech is bundling OnLive promo codes with OnLive compatible controllers they are selling. On the picture below you can see a 50% off any OnLive game promo code bundled with the Logitech Gamepad F310.


OnLive supports XInput compatible controllers. So, if you are using a Logitech gamepad, just make sure that it's set to XInput mode when using OnLive. Here is more info from OnLive on gamepad support and as you can see they also have Logitech controllers listed as supported.

SEGA Genesis (Mega Drive) Classics Bonanza Bros., Ecco Jr., Fatal Labyrinth and Super Thunder Blade Joined the OnLive PlayPack


Another four games from the SEGA Genesis (Mega Drive) classic games made it to the OnLive PlayPack. The games are Bonanza Bros.Ecco Jr., Fatal Labyrinth and Super Thunder Blade. Only Ecco Jr. and Super Thunder Blade were among the games up for votes this week. This brings the PlayPack to 177 games and counting.

Bonanza Bros.

Bonanza Bros. is a 3D-style, 2D shooting platform arcade game classic published and developed by SEGA.

The Bonanza Bros., Mike and Spike, are two of the most famous investigators around. They are modeled after The Blues Brothers. One day, they received a strange phone call.

"I can't give you my name. I'll just tell you that I'm a businessman with a problem. Many of my properties have been targets for robbery recently. Fatal Labyrinth is a role-playing game classic published and developed by SEGA.

    SEGA Genesis (Mega Drive) Classics Columns and Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine Joined the OnLive PlayPack

    Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine

    Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine is a Puyo Puyo puzzle game classic published by SEGA and developed by the SEGA Technical Institute and Compile.

    Dr. Robotnik is changing the jolly folk of Beanville into devious little robots that will help rid Planet Mobius of music and fun forever. To do this, he kidnaps the jolly citizens of Beanville and stuffs them into a giant roboticizing machine called the Mean Bean-Steaming Machine (hence the name, Mean Bean Machine), so that they become devious little robot slaves, as well as getting rid of them.

    ORION: Dino Beatdown is Coming to OnLive on April 20, 2012

    ORION: Dino Beatdown got a release date of Friday, April 20, 2012 for OnLive and Steam from its developer Spiral Game Studios. The price of ORION: Dino Beatdown will be $9.99 for OnLive and Steam.


    Dinosaurs? Jetpacks? This New Shooter Has Them Both.

    ORION: Dino Beatdown is an upcoming team-based multiplayer shooter for OnLive and PC via Steam. Players take control of guys using jetpacks who face waves of dinosaurs, and have to shoot them all in their pointy little faces.

    Not that all the faces are little. As you'll see in the clip below.



    It's being worked on by Spiral Game Studios, a new developer made up of people whose credits include titles such as Unreal Tournament, BioShock, Ghost ReconBorderlands, Jade Empire, Halo, Mortal Kombat and...Forza Motorsport. If you think the name, and the premise, sounds familiar, that's because they're the same guys working on Orion: Prelude, a game that is also coming to OnLive. Which is also about shooting dinosaurs.

    SEGA Genesis (Mega Drive) Classics Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle and Ristar Joined the OnLive PlayPack


    Another two games from the SEGA Genesis (Mega Drive) classic games made it to the OnLive PlayPack. The games are Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle and Ristar. This brings the PlayPack to 171 games and counting.

    Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle is a side-scrolling platform game classic published and developed by SEGA.

    Alex lives on Planet Aries, controlled by his brother, King Igul. The whole Kidd family is upset! Alex's father, King Thor, is missing, and they suspect he has been kidnapped by Ashra, the mean ruler of the planet Paperock. After hearing a rumor that his long-lost father, King Thor, is still alive on Planet Paperock, Alex travels to the planet to search for him.

    Alex speeds to Paperock to investigate, but the creatures of Paperock decide to hinder his efforts and try to keep him away from Sky Castle, Ashra's hideaway. Luckily Alex knows how to jump, punch, kick and rock paper scissor his way through the most stubborn of enemies.
