Video of DiRT 3 Gameplay via OnLive Cloud Gaming on the ARCHOS GamePad

Below you can see a gameplay video of DiRT 3 being played via the OnLive cloud gaming service on the ARCHOS GamePad. DiRT 3 is one of the touch capable games on OnLive, and since the Android based ARCHOS GamePad has a great game mapping tool that maps any virtual touch controls via an easy-to-use drag-and-drop interface to the ARCHOS GamePad's physical gamepad that resembles the design of the PlayStation Vita (PS Vita), you can play touch supported games on OnLive in no time and it works great.

Apart from DiRT 3, the more prominent touch capable games on OnLive are L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition, Darksiders, Split/Second, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II Chaos Rising, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Mini Ninjas, Defense Grid Gold, The Maw, The Ball and World of Goo.

It would be great if OnLive would add physical controls support for the ARCHOS GamePad and similar tablets for all the controller supported games on the service, like they did for the Sony Xperia PLAY.

You can download the OnLive App for Android.

  1. hello i have a archos gamepad too but when i go on onlive with it and when i want to play with tactil games there is no touch on my archos screen.

I cant understand how you do this :/

(im french sorry for my english)

    1. You will have to provide a little more detail. Do you have the OnLive Android app installed? Does the OnLive Android app start up on your ARCHOS GamePad?

You have to install the OnLive Android app, the link is at the end of the article. I presume you are from France and since the OnLive Android app is only officially available on Google Play in the US and UK, you'll have to install it manually. You can find the app here.

I don't know why the OnLive touch games on your ARCHOS GamePad wouldn't work. And as the article says, to play the OnLive touch games on the physical controls of the ARCHOS GamePad you have to map the controls via the ARCHOS GamePad's game mapping tool.

You can ask for help at the OnLive Fans forum and feel free to ask more questions if you don't know something.

      I hope I could help:)

    2. I'm glad that it works for you now and feel free to ask more questions if you need help:)
