Gaikai has Partnered with Machinima

Gaikai, the cloud gaming service, announced a platform partner deal with Machinima, the world’s leading video entertainment network for gamers. Machinima's award-winning content will be available for license via Gaikai's open cloud gaming platform, for integration across all Gaikai-powered devices.

Machinima's online global video entertainment network boasts an astounding 168 million unique gamers, who viewed more than 1.61 billion videos in April 2012, making Machinima the most popular entertainment channel on YouTubeMachinima properties are found across distribution platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, iOS and Android, and will be launching this fall on Xbox.

With this move Gaikai follows in the footsteps of OnLive which partnered with GameSpot last August and features GameSpot video content such as game reviews and in-depth interviews along their cloud games library, providing OnLive users with a trusted point of view as they go through their own games discovery process.
