Red Orchestra 2 is Still Scheduled to Come to OnLive

Back in August, it was reported that Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad was going to be released for OnLive. Then in December, OnLiveFans had an interview with Alan Wilson, Vice President of Tripwire Interactive. He informed them that the game should be released to OnLive sometime in the first or second quarter of 2012.

OnLiveFans have remained in contact with Mr. Wilson, and he informed them last week that the game is still on schedule to come to the service.

“We’re waiting on OnLive to do the tech work now… all agreed in principal, but they have to remove Steam and replace it with Gamespy tech,” explained Wilson.

When asked if he has an approximate release date, he informed them that he did not.

Many OnLive gamers have been anxiously awaiting the release of this game, and from the sound of things, it is not all that far from coming to the cloud gaming service.
