OnLive is a Finalist for the Crunchies Best Technology Achievement Award

TechCrunch announced the finalists for all of the categories of the Crunchies Awards 2011.

OnLive is a finalist in the Best Technology Achievement category. They will be up against some very strong competitors which include:
- Lytro
- NFC
- Siri
- Tesla Flat Pack Battery

The 2010 winner of the award was Google’s Self Driving Car. OnLive really has a chance to win the award this year.

Unfortunately OnLive Founder and CEO Steve Perlman was not chosen as a finalist for CEO of the Year; a category that many OnLive fans nominated him for, and felt strongly about.

You can vote now for OnLive or any other company at: http://crunchies2011.techcrunch.com/vote.

Everyone is eligible and encouraged to vote. The rules state that you may vote once per day, per award category, until voting closes on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 11:59pm PST. There are 20 award categories open for voting, recognizing the top accomplishments across a variety of fields and roles.

The 5th Annual Crunchies Awards will be announced on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 7:30 pm PT. The Awards Ceremony will take place at the Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco.

The After Party will follow at the Davies Symphony Hall from 9:00 pm – 11:30 pm where the celebration continues with the honorees and distinguished guests. There will be a hosted bar, hors d’oeuvres, casino game room, and other fun entertainment and surprises. Admission to the After Party is included in the awards ceremony tickets.

You can still get some tickets for the Crunchies Awards 2011 from Eventbrite.

Stay tuned to see if OnLive can take home the award.
