Headup Games Wants All Their Games on OnLive Including Grotesque Tactics 2

Back in August we saw some games released to OnLive from publisher Headup Games. They included Power of Defense, Gear Grinder and Twin Sector. The publisher has also brought Greed: Black Border, Trapped Dead, Grotesque Tactics and one touch enabled game titled Future Wars, the release of which coincided with the launch of the OnLive App for Android, to OnLive in the past. However, Dieter Schoeller, Managing Director at Headup Games has stated that they have a lot more planned for the OnLive service.

“I am trying to get every single game of [ours] onto the (OnLive) platform, but the decision ultimately is with OnLive,” said Dieter. “So on a broad level I can tell you that all Headup Games titles are planned (from our perspective) to go up on their service, such as Grotesque Tactics 2: Dungeons & Donuts and Bridge Constructor (which I think would be a wonderful title for their PlayPack).”

However, nothing appears to be officially written in stone as of yet, and Headup Games is restricted from saying much more due to an NDA they have with OnLive.

“I have no insight into OnLive’s release schedule,” explained Dieter. “I love their whole concept, vision and CI, and hopefully someday they will become a primary channel for us.”

Headup Games is the publisher of many great titles including Super Meat Boy, Tidalis, APOX, Astroslugs, Future Wars, Grotesque Tactics 2, The Second Guest (coming soon), and many more.

It would surely be a welcomed sight to see any or all of these games released to the OnLive service, and from the sounds of things, it appears as though this is a real possibility.
