2012 Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition Update Soon to Hit PC, will OnLive follow?

As excited as OnLive users were to finally have Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition on the service, many Street Fighter enthusiasts were quick to notice that the substantial “2012″ update was not included. However, this problem wasn’t exclusive to OnLive, as all PC users were also left without the update. However, this is finally about to change.

Vince, from Capcom’s official blog, sent out the info:
For all of you who have been waiting patiently for your PC version of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition to receive the 2012 update, we have some news for you. Our development team has been cracking the whip on this project, and are aiming to have the 2012 update ready for you all by the end of February.
So now the question is, does this mean we will see the 2012 Update on OnLive? Seeing the PC version of the game get the update is a very positive sign, and gives renewed hope for seeing the same update reach OnLive.

The 2012 update for consoles was incredibly substantial, featuring multiple balances and significant tweaks to every character on the roster. Check out some of the changes here:

For those so inclined, you can see the official, complete, very lengthy list of changes from Capcom itself here.
