Yesterday, Two Tribes tweeted, “We’d like to go all out for Toki Tori 2 on OnLive.”
Toki Tori 2 is a game that is still in development from Two Tribes. It seems as though it is still at least 4 months away from actually being finished. It is scheduled to be released in Spring of 2012 (although no OnLive release date was announced). However, by the sounds of things, Toki Tori 2 for OnLive should be truly awesome.
It’s not clear what “all out” means when Two Tribes talks about bringing the game to the service. However, one can imagine that they have plans for integrated touch controls for use on tablets and smartphones.
However, Shan from Two Tribes today said, that the tweet that came from their company yesterday was not in fact confirmation that the game is coming to the service. While the company has hopes of bringing it to OnLive, there are no established plans yet.
The first game in the series, Toki Tori, however is set to be released on the service tonight/tomorrow morning (tonight at 6:00pm European time according to Two Tribes).
Two Tribes has already brought their hit title EDGE to OnLive in the past, and gamers have been saying great things about it. Next week on 12/27, according to Two Tribes, their third game, RUSH will be released on the service.
RUSH and Toki Tori will join EDGE in the OnLive PlayPack. If you aren’t a PlayPack member yet, it’s certainly worth trying it out for a month, just to try these 3 games.
