Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus and Toki Tori Join the OnLive PlayPack

Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus and Toki Tori are this week's new members of the OnLive PlayPack. The PlayPack now stands at 132 games and counting.

Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus



Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus is a humorous platformer developed and published by Oddworld Inhabitants. It is the second game in the Oddworld series and dates back to 1998. It is the sequel of Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and the prequel to Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee, both games already on the OnLive PlayPack. Let's hope Oddworld Inhabitants bring the last game of the series Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath to OnLive.



As if things weren't tough enough for Abe in the original Oddworld, this time he has to contend with even more evil Glukkons! It seems that the malicious beasts have been capturing the noble Mudokons and using their tears of pain to create SoulStorm Brew. Not only that, they're distributing the spirits of dead Mudokons for consumer use! Make your way through level after level of detailed action, using some rather unique weaponry to help your kinfolk out of this serious predicament. This is pure hilarity for gamers of all ages.

Toki Tori



Toki Tori is an indie puzzle game developed and published by Two Tribes. This publisher already has EDGE in the PlayPack and plans to bring RUSH to the PlayPack next tuesday.

The gameplay in Toki Tori is a blend of two genres. While it looks like a platform game, it's a puzzle game at heart. To progress through the game, the player must pick up each egg in a level using a set number of tools. Players will have to look and plan ahead carefully while using items such as the Telewarp, Freeze-o-Matic and InstantRock. Additional tools are gradually introduced as the player progresses through the game's 80+ levels covering four unique worlds.
