OnLive Added Two Games to the PlayPack

Don’t get too excited. To say that OnLive fans are a bit disappointed in the games released this week, would be a big understatement, check out the response from fans on the OnLiveFans forum. Surprisingly, during this first week of OnLive for gamers in the UK, just two games were added to the PlayPack. However, when you consider all of the work that the entire OnLive team had to do for the past few weeks, getting ready for the Eurogamer Expo 2011, it's understandable that they may not have had the time needed to get some better games up and running. No PlayPass games released this week. The two games added to the PlayPack are, Fishdom H2O and Jerry Rice & Nitus’ Dog Football. Neither of these are terrible games, but just not the blockbusters that some were hoping for.

Fishdom H2O

Fishdom H2O is another casual game, developed and published by Playrix. It is the second Fishdom game to grace this Earth, and it is a hidden object single player experience. You join Jennifer, a young marine biologist while the two of you hunt trinkets and collectibles from the bottom of the ocean. In turn you sell these objects to fund your very own aquarium. This is another game most suitable for kids. It does not support a gamepad.

Jerry Rice & Nitus' Dog Football

Jerry Rice & Nitus’ Dog Football was originally a Nintendo Wii title. In this sports game you play a simplified version of American Football, with a human quarterback and dog players on offense and defense. This game was originally made for kids to be able to play with parents using the Wii contoller. The OnLive version is single player only and played with mouse and keyboard. This game was developed and published by JudoBaby. It features 12 fields, 250+ ways to expand your teams skills (treats and such), 14 quarterbacks, 20 breeds of dog, and 185 selectable plays. It’s a great kids game with an ESRB rating of E for everyone.

This brings the PlayPack to 106 games and counting.
