OnLive / Square Enix Sale: 50% Off Kane & Lynch 2, Just Cause 2, & Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

Last week, OnLive held a sale for Ubisoft games, and it went over very well. It went so well in fact, that OnLive and Square Enix decided to team up for another week-long sale. This week, three Square Enix games are on sale for 50% off their normal prices.

Just Cause 2, which is normally priced at $19.99 can be purchased for $9.99. Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days, which also is normally priced at $19.99 can be had for $9.99 as well. On top of these two games, OnLive is discounting a game that has just arrived on the system. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light was just introduced to OnLive. It carries a price tag of $14.99, but during the week-long sale, it can be purchased for only $7.49.

OnLive PlayPack members, who pay $9.99/month for unlimited access to a growing library of over 80 games, can also take an additional 30% off these titles as well as any other item in the marketplace. With the additional 30% off PlayPack member discount, Just Cause 2, and Kane & Lynch 2 can be purchased for only $6.99. The newly introduced Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light game can be purchased for only $5.24.

OnLive has been having a lot of sales recently, but this is really nothing new to those OnLive fans that have been following the company since their launch over a year ago. Because of the cost effectiveness of not having to print and package games for retail distribution, publishers have the ability to drastically lower their prices. This is what we continue to see with OnLive games.
