OnLive released F.3.A.R. Multiplayer to the PlayPack
As promised, OnLive on tuesday added the F.3.A.R. multiplayer portion to the PlayPack. Included in the F.3.A.R. MP are all four of the MP modes. The game supports mouse and keyboard as well as gamepads.
To celebrate the addition of F.3.A.R. Multiplayer, this Wednesday, August 3, OnLive will host a Multiplayer Madness event! Whether you’ve got a PlayPack subscription or you’ve purchased or rented the game, just hop online between 8 and 11 p.m. (EDT) and face your fears.
Another game added to the PlayPack is a casul game, Potion Bar. The game from Playrix, is a whimsical game filled with rainbows, vampire fangs, and talking cats. Your job in the game is as a bar tender at the “Potion Bar”, where a talking cat tells you how to mix drinks, and answers your questions. Reviews of the game have been surprisingly good. Players are limited to using their keyboard and mouse while playing this rather entertaining game. The game is single player only.
You can play the free demo of Potion Bar powered by OnLive.
Super Granny 6, is another casual game added to the PlayPack. This one is brought to OnLive by Sandlot Games, a publisher that seems to really be serious about the service. Super Granny 6 is their top rated game, out of a quite impressive library that they have. Playing as Super Granny, one of your favorite kittens wanders away, and accidentally falls into a hole. Super Granny ends up following her kitten into a long, winding, never-ending pit. Your job is to make your way through the underground world to save your kitten. The game actually has one of the funnier story lines you will ever see. This game is certainly worth a try, to anyone who likes the action adventure type. It is available to play with a keyboard and mouse combination, and is a single player game.

These three games bring the PlayPack to 75 titles and counting.
Sandlot Games also introduced another title to the OnLive service. However, this one was introduced to the marketplace. That means that it isn’t available in the $9.99/month PlayPack. It is a standalone game that can be purchased for $6.99 on OnLive. The game is called ‘Cake Mania: Lights, Camera, Action!’. The title, which is the 5th in a series of 6 games that are part of the Cake Mania series, is certainly worth the $6.99 price tag to those that like these types of games. The game is single player only and supports mouse and keyboard. Here is a brief introduction to the game from Sandlot Games:
