As revealed from Chris Donahue, OnLive’s developer relations boss, at GDC Europe.
Donahue said a new OnLive developer kit is due for release soon, featuring a leaderboard API, a framerate monitor tool, DirectX 11 support, touchpad support as well as sundry additions.
The development kits are free for all, he added.
Soon games on OnLive that support DirectX 11 will look even better with cool new features like tessellation, GPGPU support through DirectCompute and improved multi-threading.
Here's a video showing off the effects of DirectX 11 and tessellation especially.
Here's a video of the Nvidia Supersonic Sled tech demo which features heavy use of tessellation and uses Nvidia's PhysX and CUDA GPGPU tech.
