DIDO and Mova

OnLive, Mova and DIDO are all children of OnLive founder and CEO Steve Perlman. Here's a nice analogy relating two of these children, DIDO and Mova.

One could say that the DIDO wireless data transfer scheme is analogous to the Mova Contour motion capture technology. There multiple cameras are used to simultaneously capture the image of a random pattern painted on a surface (a face) and then software is used to correlate the patterns and recreate the single surface in digital form from the separate images.  In data transmission this scheme may work in reverse using multiple radio sources (think of cameras working in reverse - projectors) each sending a relatively simple (low bandwidth) pattern that results in a complex data pattern at the receiver. This is deep stuff, yet should work. I would not bet against this technology and tip my hat to Rearden.
